Frequently Asked Questions
By fasr the best way to see Washington. We had a 3 day pass and made full use of it. Great value for money.
The bus was a great way to get around. We loved the drivers and all of the interesting facts they had to share. Sometimes it was n...ice just to get off of your feet and see DC from the top of the bus. The 48 hour tour was so worth it. We enjoyed the boat ride and the kids loved the wax museum. more
Easy purchase - great choice! Best way to see the city!n
Great tour for the price. Loved my final bus driver he went above and beyond.
This was our second visit to Washington DC and our second booking of the Big Bus Tour. It is such a good way to start a visit to... this lovely city as it gives you an idea of where things are and what you would like to specifically go back to. Hop on, Hop off obviously lends itself very well to taking a closer look at some things, especially the monuments. We actually used three of the routes this time and saw things we didn't on our last visit, such as lovely Georgetown. This is definitely worth doing and the two day ticket is excellent value. more
Fantastic - interesting, informed, entertaining with the best guides. A special thank you to Mathew (guide) and James (driver) who... made the night tour especially memorable. Thank you!
If you do nothing else in Washington you must use this tour. more
Perfect website, perfect prices, perfect and f竏堙可ｬﾂｰst connection.
On line booking of our Big Bus tour of DC was simple and quick. Thank you.
Do not forget the night tour. It's not just the same route or information as tours during day time. We got off the bus and th...e guide brought us to sites and give even more information about the attractions. Visiting the Lincoln and MLK Jr memorials at night is a must. The tour guide was very considerate and friendly. Some of the jokes, well, might be a little bit too cheesy but when it comes to instructions and reminders, he did an excellent job to accommodate us well. more
We live in Mexico and the tours in the bus seems very good. We choose the 2 day pass.
very informative. people in the ticket area very helpful. the place was full of history, friendly drivers.
The tour was nice however the bus did get overcrowded because of the rainy weather. The top should be covered when it rains/snows.... more
Had a great day. The weather was PERFECT! Light breeze, high 78. Enjoyed the tour, it was a fun way to get around, see sights, get... a little background.
The only glitch, in my opinion, was one peculiar tour guide who apparently didn't think much of Nathanial Hale. He called him book smart but without common sense. He took one of the heroes of the American Revolution, and reduced him to a laughable character who deserved to be executed by the British. I did not appreciate the post-mortem character assassination. If anyone had made any such comments about the noble Dr. MLK, or Malcolm X there would be trouble! Yes racism exists in America. more
The buses were quite full and not frequent enough for a Saturday. Several times while I was waiting for the bus, I saw the Old Tow...n Trolley came by and wished I had taken the other one instead. more
We purchased a 48 hour pass but only used 1 day....too much time wasted waiting for next bus. Night-time tour was great. Highly... recommend that. more
The main problem is it's extremely difficult to locate the stops unless you have already been on the route and know where the...y are - not signposted as well as similar tours I have done elsewhere! more
We had to wait a lot to get on the bus and it was super crowded. It was not worth the money. We were so disappointed we didn'...t even use the second day on the ticket. more
